Greetings Hunters! Opening Day is for Gsell’s Whitetails is September 1, 2019, and we are all looking forward to a new standard of Gsell’s hunts!
Nick Baird
My name is Nick Baird and I’m the new Ranch Manager at Gsell’s Whitetails. It is a pleasure to get to introduce myself to you. I would like to take this opportunity to
share a little about myself.
I’ve been in the hunting industry since I went to work for my brother, Mike Baird at B&B Taxidermy, at the age of 17. I was a taxidermist for nine years. I then began guiding at the age of 27. This is my 20th year as a hunting guide. I love guiding!
Shawn Brown
Joining the team at Gsell’s and working with Des Woods has been a dream come true! The 2018 season was my first season on the ranch. I have taken it upon myself to look at every aspect of a Gsell’s hunt and improve upon it for our hunter’s overall enjoyment. From your daily schedule to the food, we have revamped and improved it all. Part of the new improvements means bringing some new team members on board. We’ve put together an amazing team at Gsell’s.
John Cooper
It’s my privilege to introduce them to you:
Shawn Brown is our deer guy, with 20+ years in the deer breeding industry.
John Cooper has 20 years as a hunter, guide.
Greg Garland
Our amazing chef is Greg Garland (Aka Cookie). His talent is endless in the kitchen. He has reworked our entire menu to cater to the tastes of our hunters.
And let’s not forget the man that put us all together, Des Woods. There is so much great stuff I can say about Des. He is an accomplished hunter, businessman, and a great friend.
Des Woods
This team has made many changes to Gsell’s.
Our breeding program has been redeveloped to grow more big typical frame bucks. We now hunt from blinds over food plots. Our team has looked at every piece of our operation to make sure we give our hunters the best whitetail hunting experience possible.
We invite you to come again and experience the new Gsell’s Whitetails as we look forward to opening day of the 2019 season!
Did you know? If you book 4 or more hunters together, you will have the entire ranch all to yourself!
Sincerely,
Nick Baird
